Team Rolf

We are a small team consisting of five members to create a game submission for Pixel Mill's October 2022 Game Jam. We created the game "Man's A Rocket" over 3 days to fit within the theme of "lift".

Narrative

The year is 2022. The government is in shambles, fuel prices are at an all time high and things seem to get worse with every passing week. Herman ('Man) Lee has had enough. Hailing from the small town of Ballyclava, 'Man had slowly been getting more and more sick of this planet and the people who rule it. Thankfully for our protagonist, 'Man has a rocket. Finally, the day has come - his rocket ship is complete!

"So long, Ballyclava!... Oh no, I forgot to fuel up! No way can I afford the fuel prices as they are, plus I hit my budget limit yesterday. I can't wait any longer, I need to leave this place. What if...I could syphon the fuel from cars down the street and get off this dumb rock once and for all!"

Shift - Sprint

E - Interact with fuel and ladder

P - Pause menu

Objective

Collect 9 fuel cannisters to lift off in your rocket.
